Featured:Girl in the Lens

As I promised I will try and keep my blog posts coming as well as my articles for Mixities. It is quite busy right now but I won't complain anymore and introduce you to the lovely Natasha, owner of Girl in the Lens ,a beautiful place for fashion inspiration, ideas and behind the scenes of press days for various brands.
Enjoy our  little chat and get to know her sweet personality and unique style.

Hi,Natasha, tell us something about yourself and what made you start blogging?

Hi! I'm a writer and social media freelancer. Last year, I was working at a social media agency, and everyone there had blogs, so I thought I should get start one too. Plus, I love reading blogs and was inspired by the fashion blogs I follow to create my own. I had no idea how large a part of my life it would become though!

Is it difficult to manage your time and how much time blogging actually takes you?

It’s definitely time-consuming. I work two days a week in London doing social media, and the rest of my time I split between my writing duties and blogging. Blogging is one of those things that you’ll get out as much as you put in, so I do invest quite a bit of time into it. Probably two hours a day at least. With social media accounts to look after like Twitter, it’s often a lot more!

Just a cold winter day with a sheep on my top

I stopped counting the very cold and rainy winter days, realising it's pointless here in London.
Instead I decided to make an outfit, I would like to wear for one of those extremely cold days and I am really close to buying it.
It is super comfortable and just the right colours matching my mood recently.

I hope you liked my outfit suggestion and you are enjoying the spirit of the upcoming holidays :)

The 10 Cliche Tasks of My London Christmas List

Planning your Christmas abroad is not much of a fun, there is no family dinner,no hanging out with old friends gathered from around the world home for the holidays...I kind of miss that!
The more I think about the holidays the sadder I get(usually it's the other way round) but instead of pitting myself I decided it's time to make a list of Christmas tasks I want to do here in London.

The 10 Cliche Tasks of My London Christmas List

1.Go to Covent Garden and visit the Christmas market.
2.Drink the most festive Christmassy hot drink Starbucks or Costa have to offer.
3.Go and see Wicked musical(obviously not on Broadway but it is still going to be great!)
4.Decorate a Christmas tree and make my room my festive.
5.Go to London Eye and see London from above with all the lights turned on.
6.Exchange a book in Carnaby...such an amazing project where you are able to leave a book you have read and get one for free.
7.Drink hot chocolate in Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
8.Visit the "Holywood costume" exhibition in Victoria and Albert Museum, which explores the central role costume design plays in storytelling.
9.Listen to Christmas music everywhere and enjoy being able to spend it here in London.)Because next year I will buy tickets for Bulgaria at least 5 months in advance!)
10.Invent a new Christmas cocktail.

That's pretty much how me and my boyfriend will spend this holiday season.Let me know about your plans,I bet they will be a lot better than mine!

Featured: Stylishlyme

I always admire individuals that are so passionate about their work that it is inspiring. That is the reason for this interview with Vanessa from Stylishlyme. She is a determined young woman, who is not just interested in fashion, her stylish blog gathers her travelling experiences, interviews, fashion events and more...

What made you start your blog and how can you describe it in three words?

I started blogging as an outlet for my passion and creativity. My primary University studies focused on business and economics so a blog offered something different that is fun and my own. Passionate, Creative and Honest.

What are you outside of blogging?

Outside of blogging I'm partner and COO of a digital media agency that works with businesses and individuals from Los Angeles to San Francisco. I work closely with business in developing, designing, creating and maintaining their brand identity on and offline.

What have you found to be the best way to network and get your blog out there?

I have found that the best way to get your blog out there is leaving your blog and connecting with other bloggers. Such as emailing blogs you read and introducing your blog, or leaving meaningful comments on the blog posts you like.

What blogs/bloggers inspire you?

The bloggers that inspire me are Sandra Hagelstam from 5 inch and up, Nicole Warne from Gary Pepper and Andy Torres from StyleScrapbook. Each of these three blogs have very different styles and they all found a way to show their true personality through their blog and share it with individuals from around the world. Plus, they have very beautiful blogs.

Tattoo me with a feather!

Have you wondered whether to get a tattoo or not?I bet most girls have considered the possibility of marking their bodies with something beautiful like a butterfly,a fairy or a feather at least once in their life.
Well at least I have considered it...more than once. But I still don't have the guts to just close my eyes and do it.I don't thin it's something to be afraid of,I just feel like it is personal and it shouldn't be a random drawing that you just pick at the studio. Doing it just for the sake of it is wrong and immature. Because it's a form of art that will stay with you, probably till the rest of your life,so think about it before jumping to the tattoist chair.
If I ever feel the urge and the motivation I need to get one,I will do it and I won't think twice...but just for now let's have a look at some pretty good pieces of art.

Do you have a tattoo? And does it have a secret meaning or it's something you really like?
