I always admire individuals that are so passionate about their work that it is inspiring. That is the reason for this interview with Vanessa from Stylishlyme. She is a determined young woman, who is not just interested in fashion, her stylish blog gathers her travelling experiences, interviews, fashion events and more...

What made you start your blog and how can you describe it in three words?

I started blogging as an outlet for my passion and creativity. My primary University studies focused on business and economics so a blog offered something different that is fun and my own. Passionate, Creative and Honest.

What are you outside of blogging?

Outside of blogging I'm partner and COO of a digital media agency that works with businesses and individuals from Los Angeles to San Francisco. I work closely with business in developing, designing, creating and maintaining their brand identity on and offline.

What have you found to be the best way to network and get your blog out there?

I have found that the best way to get your blog out there is leaving your blog and connecting with other bloggers. Such as emailing blogs you read and introducing your blog, or leaving meaningful comments on the blog posts you like.

What blogs/bloggers inspire you?

The bloggers that inspire me are Sandra Hagelstam from 5 inch and up, Nicole Warne from Gary Pepper and Andy Torres from StyleScrapbook. Each of these three blogs have very different styles and they all found a way to show their true personality through their blog and share it with individuals from around the world. Plus, they have very beautiful blogs.

If you had the time to start a new blog on the next morning, what would it be?

If I had the time to begin another blog I would create an inspirational blog. My content would encompass everything that inspires me in a more diverse topic range from gorgeous travel photos, to amazing graphic design. This other blog would be a place to cultivate all the wonderful things I come across and hopefully inspire others.

How can you describe your personal style?

My style is best described as classic with a splash of trends. I tend to keep mainly classic pieces in my wardrobe such as the perfect pair of brown boots and blazer and mix it up with trendy items.

Where are your favourite places to shop?

My favorite places to shop online and at a physical location would be: Anthropologie because they always have such beautiful and unique pieces; LOFT because I always find trousers that are stylish and don’t need much tailoring; BCBG Max Azria because I love almost everything in the store.

What is your next "must have" purchase?

My next must have purchase is the Chanel mini cross-body bag!! They are oh so cute and gorgeous!

Who has been your greatest fashion influence?

Fashion bloggers. Though relatively new, the fashion blogging community has made it possible for me to have greater access and a new view of the fashion world.

What are your goals for your blog in the future?

My primary goals are: share more outfits with my wonderful readers, share lots of 2013 fashion events, write more about my travels, and meet more fashion bloggers and great people.

What has changed for you since you started your fashion blog?

My involvement in fashion and photography from an editorial standpoint has changed greatly since I started my blog. In the beginning, I was more spontaneous with outfit choices and photo appeal but now I'm very detailed in my editorial calendar and in the quality of our photography.
