Planning your Christmas abroad is not much of a fun, there is no family dinner,no hanging out with old friends gathered from around the world home for the holidays...I kind of miss that!
The more I think about the holidays the sadder I get(usually it's the other way round) but instead of pitting myself I decided it's time to make a list of Christmas tasks I want to do here in London.
The 10 Cliche Tasks of My London Christmas List
1.Go to Covent Garden and visit the Christmas market.
2.Drink the most festive Christmassy hot drink Starbucks or Costa have to offer.
3.Go and see Wicked musical(obviously not on Broadway but it is still going to be great!)
4.Decorate a Christmas tree and make my room my festive.
5.Go to London Eye and see London from above with all the lights turned on.
6.Exchange a book in Carnaby...such an amazing project where you are able to leave a book you have read and get one for free.
7.Drink hot chocolate in Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
8.Visit the "Holywood costume" exhibition in Victoria and Albert Museum, which explores the central role costume design plays in storytelling.
9.Listen to Christmas music everywhere and enjoy being able to spend it here in London.)Because next year I will buy tickets for Bulgaria at least 5 months in advance!)
10.Invent a new Christmas cocktail.
That's pretty much how me and my boyfriend will spend this holiday season.Let me know about your plans,I bet they will be a lot better than mine!

You asked...my husband and I made the decision several years ago to stop returning home for Christmas (over 3000 miles and I have to say it's the best decision we ever made. We do all the cheesy Christmasy things (visiting the market) and you know what, it's absolutely amazing! The stress of buying gifts is done as they get sent early. No fighting over whose family to go to on what day, instead we are making our own memories and they have been wonderful!!! I'm sure you guys will have your own very special Holiday that you will always remember!
